A free rescue cat café near Mt. Fuji. 7 rescued cats, free drinks, free Wi-Fi — and a chance to make a difference.
Atelier Takana-sensei is a completely free rescue cat café and community space in Fujikawaguchiko, near Lake Kawaguchi and Mt. Fuji.
We rescue cats that would otherwise face euthanasia — and we give them a home where people can meet them, play with them, and fall in love with them. Every visit helps us continue this work.
Free entry. Free drinks. No time limit. Just come.
We pay for food, medicine, litter, and vet bills entirely through donations and proceeds from our sister stores. Your visit — and any support you can offer — keeps these cats safe and cared for.
No pressure. Even just visiting and sharing helps.
Each one has a story. Each one was rescued. Come meet them in person.
The famous one. Rescued near-dead in Miyazaki, now the face of our entire brand. Aiming to be the world's most famous cat.
4 years old. Endless energy, zero shyness. If you have a toy, he's already on his way to you. Pure white and pure chaos.
David's older brother. Lives at his own pace. Not very motivated — unless food is involved. Has overcome serious illness twice.
Rescued just before euthanasia. Our founder saw the post online and brought him home. Young, wild, and always running.
A grandmother, estimated 10–15 years old. Found badly injured. Now spends her days sleeping — and occasionally choosing a lucky lap.
Born September 2025. Edmund's older sister. Named at a staff party after a few too many drinks. Loves to run and cause problems.
